Youth

Our youth (grades 6-12) gather the second Sunday of the month for formation time. Every Halloween, youth are honored to organize, host, and participate in The Great Pumpkin Challenge, a pumpkin carving contest open to the wider community.  Confirmation classes following the Episcopal Way of Love offer a communal approach through which to explore how our spiritual and theological foundation shapes who we are in the world. Confirmation participants discern their own call to put their faith into action in our wider community. Youth at Church (YAC) continues to provide a space for youth participants to continue in discernment following confirmation. This is a unique offering which allows youth members to guide their ongoing thought and learning. Gathering time has been a safe space to explore individual life and faith narratives, as well as critical topics from daily life (i.e. stress/coping).
