Meeting & Event Space
Located in the heart of Newtown, Trinity Episcopal Church is an excellent, central location for meetings or events. With a handicapped accessible door on the ground level, and air conditioning we can provide a space for all your needs.
The Sanctuary
Built in 1870, our beautiful, historic sanctuary offers seating for over 300 people. The acoustics are ideal for musical concerts, whether instrumental or choral. It is also a great space for large meetings, equipped with streaming equipment.
Rates: Use of the Sanctuary is $500 for four hours. Each additional hour will be another $100. Our Sexton, Jack Qubick, will also be paid $100 to clean and reset the room.
The Johnson Library
Trinity’s Johnson Library has much to offer. Located on the second floor with a cozy seating area that easily seats 6 (more chairs can be added if needed), a meeting set up for 12, that includes a large screen with Zoom capabilities, and a kitchenette with a refrigerator, coffee pot, Kuerig and sink, this room is a fit for any number of small gatherings.
Rates: The Johnson Room is $30 an hour. If extra clean-up is needed, our Sexton, Jack Qubick, will be paid $50 per hour.
Glover Community Room
Our large conference room can hold up to 150 seated, or 300 standing people. With the attached, fully commercial kitchen, this room works wonderfully for large meetings, parties or dinners.
Rates: The Glover Community Room is $400, with an additional $100 for access to the kitchen. If extra clean-up is needed, our Sexton, Jack Qubick, will be paid $50 per hour.
