Breakfast Sunday - October 6Once a month we get together after service for a robust breakfast in the Glover Community Room. Volunteers enjoy the fellowship of preparing a meal for others while making eggs, buttermilk biscuits and Southern country sausage biscuits. Then we enjoy being a Body of Christ as we break bread together and care for one another. People learn about exciting news or events in our member’s lives while also finding opportunities to offer a strong Christian shoulder of support.

Centering Prayer
In a world filled with constant stimulation and “noise”, we hardly find time to “Be still and know that I am God” as the Psalmist says (Psalm 46:10). One way to be still and find some silence in which God can reach you is the practice of Centering Prayer. The true gift of the prayer practice is seen over time as you find yourself developing in the fruits of the spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Our Centering Prayer group meets on the second Saturday of each month from 10:30am – 11:30am in the sanctuary. We also go on an annual silent retreat. For more information contact Cindy Anderau.
