The Universal Christ by Richard Rohr Book Discussion

We invite members of Trinity and friends from the community to explore The Universal Christ by Richard Rohr. In the book and the podcast “Another Name for Everything” Rohr explores what it means that Jesus was called “Christ” and how this forgotten truth can restore hope and meaning to our lives. Rohr articulates a transformative view of Jesus Christ as a portrait of God’s constant, unfolding work in the world. We will sit with this teaching through prayer, discussion and contemplative practices. Meetings will be hybrid in person at Trinity and on Zoom on Thursday August 5, August 19, September 9 and September 23 at 6:30 p.m.
