Silent Auction to benefit the Ukraine & World Central Kitchen
The Youth of Trinity Episcopal Church are holding a fundraiser to support the people of Ukraine.
Trinity's Youth is auctioning off original street art created on authentic Ukrainian currency. We are auctioning off five of them (all the same) to benefit world central kitchen. The estimated value is @$220 each and starting bid is $75.
World Central Kitchen is a not-for-profit non-governmental organization devoted to providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises. In late February 2022, chef Jose’ Andre’s responded to multiple locations, including in border areas and hard hit Kharkiv Ukraine to distribute meals during the Russian invasion. By March 2, World central kitchen had opened 8 kitchens on the Ukraine-Poland border. WCK is working with more than 400 restaurants, food trucks and caterers, which together produce about 320,000 meals per day to feed the hungry in Ukraine.
