Immediately Following the 7:30pm Maundy Thursday Service to 11:00pm
All Youth in Rite 13 and older are invited to attend the 7:30pm Maundy Thursday service and then gather downstairs in the Glover Undercroft for a reflection time on the service, Holy Week, discussion, snacks, walking the labyrinth, praying in the chapel over the reserved sacrament, prayer centers, and more activities designed to allow them to walk with Jesus to the cross, tomb and then joyful resurrection. Please rsvp to Sue Vogelman to attend at firstname.lastname@example.org .
Trinity's youth are busy exploring their faith both at the church and elsewhere in a variety of activities. The Rite 13 Class (7th and 8th Graders) were celebrated in the Rite 13 Ceremony on March 6th. Next month they will enjoy their Rite 13 Weekend Retreat at Camp Washington with the theme of Finding the Gospel in Harry Potter.
The J2A and YAC Classes are attending the 9:00am Lenten Formation Series in the Glover Undercroft. They are learning the Growing a Rule of Life program offered by the Society of Saint John the Evangelist and facilitated by members of Trinity's Christian Formation Commission.
The Confirmation Class visited Glebe House in Woodbury on February 28th to learn about the birth place of the Episcopal Church. They will celebrate their Confirmation this June.
Our college and boarding school students are just receiving their Trinity Valentine Care Packages and many have sent selfies of them with their box of goodies. They all say, "Thank you to Trinity” for providing such a wonderful assortment of goodies and useful items. Our younger classes made the Valentines and love seeing the Valentine’s they made in the pictures from the students. Check out the bulletin board across from the Office of Christian Education or the Trinity Facebook page to view the photos.
