Christmas is a season that begins on Christmas Eve and ends on January 6. Since our pageant traditionally includes the arrival of the Magi or three kings, it really should be called an Epiphany Pageant since the Feast of the Epiphany, also known as the 12th Day of Christmas, is when we celebrate the arrival of the three kings in the liturgical season. So this year, our Pageant is scheduled on January 6 at 7pm and we hope all will come join us for this last chance to sing all our beloved Christmas carols, see the beautiful greenery in the church, and watch our children and youth portray this most epic story in full costume.
As is our tradition, we will be presenting gifts to the baby Jesus as part of the pageant and the gifts will be brought to the children currently living at Amos House in Danbury. If you'd like to participate in this outreach, please see below to see which child and what kind/type of gift to purchase, wrap and bring to the pageant. If your last name begins with the letters shown, then you may purchase a gift for the child as suggested. Children who filled mite boxes may also present them with the gifts at the pageant.
