All who work with and/or chaperone children, youth, elderly, or are on vestry at Trinity must attend a ONE-TIME Basic Safe Church Training within 3 months of beginning your ministry, and then be re-certified every 3 to 5 years. See training descriptions and dates to register below.
BASIC SAFE CHURCH TRAINING is designed for ordained and lay ministers who have not yet attended a safe church training in the Diocese of Connecticut. This training is two and a half-hours long and offers new and updated information. The focus is on the protection of children and youth and prevention of elder abuse. Evening sessions, 6 pm - 9 pm, light supper provided unless otherwise noted. Morning sessions, 9 am - 11:30 am, light refreshments provided unless otherwise noted.
