Welcome!
July 20, 2008
A SHORT INTRODUCTION TO OUR WORSHIP
FOR ALL VISITING TODAY
A warm welcome to all visiting Trinity
today; we are glad you are with us.
If worship in the Episcopal Church is new
to you, you might find it a bit confusing at first. You may notice that people
use a variety of gestures and postures during the service, such as making the
sign of the cross, bowing to the processional cross as it passes, bowing to the
altar, standing or kneeling for prayer. These gestures help many of us in our
worship, but no one is required to do them. Whatever your tradition, please
make yourself at home and feel free to participate in the service as you are
moved. All people are welcome to receive
communion at Trinity.
If you are curious about any part of our
service, please feel free to ask questions! We enjoy sharing the meaning of
what we are doing in our worship.
For those who desire it, there is nursery care offered each Sunday from 9:30-11:30. Our nursery is located just through the
double glass doors and to the right, in the entry foyer of the Parish House and
is staffed by a trained adult.
Above all, know that you are most welcome
here today. We hope you enjoy worshiping with us and that you will come back to
Trinity soon.

See the back of the announcements for an opportunity to join the bishops
in their call to Make Poverty History.
The bulletin board outside Pastor Kathie’s office has details about the
